Welcome to the RAT Radio
RAT Radio is a new internet radio station aimed at people who are living, or have once lived, in the UK. The music style is predominantly made up of music that has appeared in the UK top 40 charts, or is well known to the UK public. In addition to this, we hope to provide a few 'speciality' shows that showcase the outer-fringes of a musical genre using specialist DJ's who have an intimate knowledge and love of their music. e.g. Heavy & Progressive Rock, Jazz, House, Soul, Punk, Trance.

On Test!
We are currently in the process of setting up the station at the moment and have a test - stream which you can listen to. It is based around the type of music that we will be playing. Please note that there is very little DJ content in this stream, but if you wish to listen, just click the 'Listen Live' on the left

Rat Radio is a small radio station under constant development. It is staffed entirely by volunteers who receive no money whatsoever, not even expenses! Unfortunately it costs a lot of money to run a radio station, mostly due to technical payments, and whilst we strive to remain 'Commercial Free' we depend on donations to be able to continue to provide the quality of service. If you like what you hear, we are happy to receive your donation, small or big, so we can continue to provide you with some of the best entertainment on the internet today.
